so today i finally booked my flight home, guys this really does suck some wicked stuff, i will be leaving new york city on the 26th of january 2011!!! =( i think my day was officially ruined, but like the saying goes, you can take me out of new york, but you can't take new york out of me=) haha, though don'y you worry i will be back, even if it is the last thing i do, i can't leave my crazy awesome friends here to have fun without me, now can i???

and this last weekend i spent in boston, massachusettes! it was really fun, and was great to hang out somewhere else for a change! we went sight seeing and walked around alot because everything is really close, and harvard students really dont dress the way i thought they would......i mean you'd expect them to dress neat and stuff, but only a few of em do, else they look like everyone else haha. but yeah i would really like to go back to boston for a weekend with the girls=) on a side note, we put our dog katie down on sunday, she was really ill and old, so may her soul rest in peace.....

and yes the time has come for winter to return, which means it's nearly time for me to go home! it,s starting to get really cold this side of the world, but atleast todays a great day right? besides the fact that lacey and i decided we're gonna go cylce over the brooklyn bridge and on our way home, i did something really stupid, ended up falling off my bike and she (lacey) was nearly wetting her pants on the side of the road laughing at me hahaha=) just great, but until next time, bon voyage!

hello my fellow bloggers!!!!! i know it has been way too long, and i will try be more talkative, just i battle to find the time=) or i'm lazy hahaha....

so where to start...mmmm.... HALLOWEEN!!!! was pretty awesome, my mate lacey and i obvoiusly left everything till the last minute and everything was such a rush, but our costumes came out positively cool=P Lacey was a blonde haired sexy dorothy, and i was some kind of pshyco zombie back from the dead thinga ma bob lol, and we only got out till really late but in the end had a great night anyways! yay =)

well for the last two weeks my parents were here in NYC, they came for a holiday and ofcourse to visit there amazing (haha) daughter me:) it was great having them here and i was not sad to say goodbye since im gonna be going home soon. so on friday night my friend had a house warming party which was really amazing, since they were all mostly dominican and latino, and we all know my obsession, haha, so i invited some of my friensa and we all had a great night! my lovely friend csilla varadi who also has a blog and was an au pair here in brooklyn not too far from me went home two weeks ago:( it was a very hard goodbye, and to think i cant just call on her really sucks, but we will meet again, in actual fact my friend lacey and i are planning a trip, for me to come back and visit new york, then we go to budapest to visit csilla and zsofie and then lacey coming back to south africa with me for a bit, weather this happens or not im not sure but i really hope it does. also i got a new camera, canon powershot with intense zoom, she takes amazing pis and awesome videos! and finally my iphone is fixed, thanks to my turtle and his lil bro=) i have also been doing this boston course and thank goodness thats done because it was terribly boring, i mean we barely even learnt about boston itself, but yeah like i said its done haha. Also really happy to say my cousin/ best friend is coming to spend the whole of january with me which will be amazing, because we always have these gay baby moments to talk about after having them haha

okay! so from the 9th to the 17th of september i went back to South Africa for a little visit and to surprise my dad for his birthday! and bonus, i was there for my horse( the love of my life) birthday too=)

It was great to be home for a bit, and to see my friends and family again!I'll tyr get some pics up for that, but to be honest, I did miss brooklyn just a little bit too much and im really happy to be back! yeah yeah!

well these last photo's were taken now in the summer holidays that we just had, which were maybe a bit tooo long haha, but they were good! I took the kids to the museum of natural history, all I can say is amazing!!! I loved every second of it, and im pretty sure the kids loved it just as much, even though they tried to act all tough cookie, because when it was time to leave, they were like nOOOOOO! Myself and a few friends also did a mini new york tour, where we went to random places and just took pictures, it was really awesome, and ofcourse we went to williamsberg, my favourite place in New York!

soooooooooo, im still alive! whoo hoo, and i have stalled here for like ten minutes while talking to my mate on the phone haha... dam, carrying on---> so this last weeks been really good, im really excited because one of my best mates (LAcey) is coming back to New York from the UK tomorrow=) beans beans beans, i feel beans!!! and it is gonna be my friend Zsofies last week in New York before she goes back to Hungary=( that really sucks!

moving on though, this week has been awesome, met loads of new people, got to know people better and life in the USA is still grand(0_o). im also really excited because in a couple of weeks i leave to go back to South Africa to visit, and im really keen to see if anything has changed, or if culture shock takes effect again!! but yeah thats it for now just checking in to let ya know im alive and kicking! xxx

DUN DUN DUN!!!! so on sunday when I get back Im told i must pack my bags yet again, coz im going to New City for the week with the kids to the grans house because of the construction!!!!! OMG New City is so boring, it's where people go to die hahaha, im dying here, so at some point during this slow moving week im gonna take pics of this dead beat town, and show you what this place lacks!!! I had to walk 3 miles just to get free wifi (at the only starbucks with terrible service in the whole town) just to update my blog, death i tell you! so if you do not hear from me again, i died!

So i got back from Montauk on Saturday the 8th and on Sunday there was this music festival at the Williamsburg waterfront (which is every Sunday until the end of August, yay) and i met up with my amazing friends and met some more crazy ppl!! It was mad insane, and i want to do this every sunday, it was a great mission some crazy things were said and done, but thats what friends are for right???

Okay well this last week of July myself and the family went to Montauk, which is the last stop on Long Island and its beautiful. It's a 15 minute drive from the Hamptons which is also really pretty and i want a holiday house there LOL. While we have been here they are renovating the house back in Brooklyn, adding an extra room upstairs, and yes!!! yay, i finally have my own entrance to my room, i don't have to go through the kids rooms anymore, and the company doing the job are doing a great job, plus some cute guys which makes for great eye candy!!! ;), but getting back to Montauk, its like a little beach town, and the weather is great and the houses are beautiful, but some of the ppl there walk around like they own the place which is really annoying but hey, who cares!!! there's also this department store called "whites" and they sell everything and nearly anything! But it was a great week of vacation!!! i wanna go back, but i did miss my crazy friends!!!
